I'm currently making headway into getting a colonia up and running, I have drawn up a draft of how the city will be laid out (for organisation), I'm planning on setting up a wooden fort as a base of which to expand out from. Any Romans who wish to become civil servants would be best off seeing me in order to get this up and running. Legionaries are also welcome to help clear and gather materials. A Colonia is very ambitious! Try something a bit smaller? Also that plan seems a little odd to me! I'll put pen to paper and try and come up with something a little more prototypical!

Yeah I was more interested in distinction of districts then anything else. My design however is mainly there to ensure population density and realism of street-plans. Most of the roads would be simply walk-space between or under buildings. My main changeable items are the position of the forum in relation to the centre of the city, along with the government buildings that go with it. This "colonia" is the earlier usage of the word, an outpost to determine Roman presence in an area.

Is it possible to create another faction, or just not be in a faction at all? such as being a trader from somewhere else?
