The Pompeii Project is an idea and a creation.
This project started in 2012, with the thought that a 1:1 scale Pompeii, as accurate as it can be in Minecraft, could serve to be an interesting, educational, and ambitious project constructed by many builders who are fans of Rome. Very few 1:1 scales of historical cities exist in minecraft, with only the Forbidden City of China being the main competitor in terms of scale.
The street layout is mostly done at this point, but the blocks of the city are yet to be constructed. Because of this, I am now recruiting builders who, separate from LoR, want to build an educationally-accurate depiction of Ancient Pompeii in its age of glory.
